These Terms of Service set out the rules for using the Mates Florida website and purchasing our products. By accessing this site and making a purchase, you agree to comply with these terms.

1. Use of the website

You agree to use this site for lawful purposes only and not to engage in any activity that could harm, disrupt or affect its operation.

2. Purchases

All purchases are subject to product availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including availability, errors in product information or fraud prevention.

3. Handmade products

Our mates and many of our products are handmade by artisans in Argentina from natural materials, such as calabaza gourd and algarrobo wood. No two pieces are alike: color, grain, shape, size and finish may vary from the photos on the site. These variations are part of handcrafted work and are not considered defects. Calabaza and algarrobo mates must be cured before first use; damage caused by incorrect curing or improper use or care is not the responsibility of Mates Florida.

4. Personalized mates

Personalized mates are made to order based on the design you approve before engraving. It is your responsibility to check that the design, names, dates and text are correct before approving it; we are not responsible for errors in an approved design. Once the design is approved, the order cannot be cancelled. Personalized mates are final sale. We do not accept designs that infringe third-party rights, such as registered trademarks or crests used without authorization, or offensive content, and we may decline any design at our discretion.

5. Pricing and payment

Prices may change without notice. We may modify or discontinue products at any time. Payment must be made using the methods available at checkout.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, images, logos and product designs, is the property of Mates Florida and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mates Florida will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of our site or products. Our total liability for any claim related to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights under law that cannot be excluded.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. Any dispute related to these Terms or your purchases will be resolved before the competent courts of the State of Florida.
